Management of the Swedish Initiative Benefiting the Palestinian Private Sector at Large
PIBF is a Swedish initiative that is managed by the International Council of Swedish Industries (NIR) and coordinated from Palestine by Solutions for Development Consulting Co. PIBF is currently funded by the Swedish International Cooperation Agency (Sida). PIBF aims at enhancing and coordinating local and international private sector efforts in working towards sustainable economic development in Palestine. The PIBF aspires to build on economy as one of the core pillars for political and societal stability in the Middle East region.PIBF works on interventions that aim to increase the possibilities available to Palestinian enterprises and institutions in terms of sustainability and even more importantly the ability to improve the conditions and environment under which they operate in.
