Leen Al-Asali joined Solutions for Development Consulting Co. in June 2017; Leen plays a critical role in supporting managers in handling projects and delivering superior results to clients focusing on Economic Development project. At any point in time, Leen oversees multiple work streams including: leading projects, project data management and analysis, preparation of quantitative and qualitative studies, development of client presentations, development of questionnaires and surveys, as well as client relations management working side-by-side with other consultants.
Leen’s focus on Economic Development projects especially on gender responsive and women’s economic development programs allowed her to build a solid experience in this field. Also, Leen led several workshops and focus groups with different entities, for instance, she led a focus group with 12 individuals representing different Palestinian Ministries. The focus group objective was to discuss women’s economic empowerment in Palestine and its impact on males and females at the same time.
Prior to joining Solutions, Leen held the position of SAP Business One Consultant at Synergy Ltd, a partner of SAP, which delivers IT solutions for the automation and full management of client businesses. At Synergy, Leen spearheaded the planning, management, and execution of multiple client projects. Her responsibilities included the preparation of project implementation plans to facilitate data collection, analysis and migration from clients’ old software to new software installed by Synergy, as well as the documentation of business process requirements and the customization of Crystal reports. Leen reported directly to the firm CEO and played an instrumental role in the development of the company’s mission, vision, goals and business model.
Leen holds a B.A. degree from Birzeit University with a focus on English Literature, in addition to minors in Business Administration and Translation. She graduated in 2015 with honors. Leen earned the SAP Business One 9.0 Certificate in January 2016.
