Fares holds an Undergraduate Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in Economics with a concentration on International Policy. Upon returning to Palestine, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute – MAS.
In this role, Fares explored different topics such as trade, demographics, and food security. Notably, he focused on analyzing the markets of manufacturing and service industries in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, with a particular emphasis on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Fares is driven by the opportunity to uncover economic insights and contribute to informed decision-making. His experience sparked a passion for a hands-on approach to economic analysis, delving into market dynamics to provide actionable recommendations. Eager to leverage his skills, Fares aims to make a tangible impact on the Palestinian private sector, contributing to its sustainable growth.
