Farah El-Alem graduated as a civil with environmental engineer from the University of Brighton in 2016, and started her career as a market researcher and data analyst within a few months of graduation. The switch in sectors came naturally, as her mathematical and analytical skills helped her sort through large data sets and obtain relative insights and recommendations, and her curious mind allowed her to investigate the Palestinian market, consumers, and establishments in a variety of ways, and obtain an in-depth understanding of the market and its functions.
With 5 years’ experience as a consultant, her work focused on three main aspects, market research & customer satisfaction, service assessment & employee satisfaction, and monitoring & evaluation of programs and projects. Some of the main sectors covered over the years include telecommunication (landline, mobile, and internet), MSME’s, agriculture, IT, and SGBV and related services. Furthermore, for the majority of projects lead, Farah conducted sample selection, development of data collection tools, overseeing data collection, conducting in-depth- interviews and focus groups, as well as data analysis, reporting, and recommendations. Making her highly experienced in the overall research process, and quality assurance throughout.
Joining Solutions team in 2021, Farah has been leading market research projects, and learning from the strategic and businesses development expertise available at Solutions. By integrating with Solutions team, Farah is focusing on obtaining in-depth understanding on development of strategy, businesses, economy, trade policies, and many other similar topics. Concurrently, Farah is pursuing her masters, Executive Master in Businesses Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), which is also adding to her background in best methods and strategies for business development and organization.
